- Purpose :
Purpose of Procedure Text
•To explain/tell (the reader) how to make/operate/do something through a sequence of actions or steps.
•To explain steps/instruction to make/operate/do something
- Structure :
Structure of Procedure Text
•Goals/aim: Contains the objectives of the activity or things that will be done or made later.
•Materials/tools: Contains materials and sometimes the tools needed to make an item/do something. In procedure text, materials are optional or not always there.
•Steps: A series of steps or tips that must be done.
Conclusion/result; Contains the final result of what has been done in accordance with the steps taken.
